Kind of a late response, and I'm not really one to leave someone hanging so this is what I think: The moderators or administrators appoint/approve members to become senior members. It's not something I really care for as I don't exactly post often.

I only go on to check on a few topics I go to and check some new topics. Even then, I don't go on AP as much anymore than before. Really, the way Animepaper is setup so that tons of spammers/idiots that pile on useless drivel in the forums seems really horribly made. I mean, I guess the admins are getting cash for doing it with donations and ads, but really, these reasons made me stop going to AP as often as before.

tl;dr I don't know how they have the member setup. I barely post.

Eh? I think I became a senior member...like...three quarters of a year ago. I don't think it has anything to do with the time I've been here. Otherwise you would see MUCH more people who are senior members.
